The Bioexpression and Fermentation Facility is pleased to announce the addition of new capabilities for its training lab.  TangenX recently donated a system capable of using 0.1 m2 membranes.

The Terns Lab was featured in a recent article in the University of Georgia Research magazine about the powerful emerging CRISPR-Cas technologies.  

Dr. Terns has been named to the Genetics Society of America's list of Prominent Women in Genetics  

The award will support the Terns Lab's work to understand the CRISPR-Cas immune systems.

Our department recently honored Dr. Lars Ljungdahl at the 2106 Lars G. Ljungdahl Lecture on Friday, March 25, 2016. Our guest speaker was Dr. Volker Mueller from Goethe-Universitat Frankfurt.We were very pleased with the excellent turnout for both the lecture and the receiption.
