Shaying Zhao has received a five year $1.5 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to identify colorectal cancer driver genes using a novel dog-human comparative genomics and oncology approach. Congratulations Shaying!

Congratulations to Dr. Jessica Lopes da Rosa-Spiegler (Sabatini lab) on receiving an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship to study epigenetic regulation of RNA polymerase II transcription  in Trypanosoma brucei.

Congratulations to Dr. Yunzhou Wei (Terns lab) on receiving an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship to study the capture of enemy (e.g. virus) sequences by CRISPR-Cas immune systems in bacteria and archaea.
