Image: Antavius Cain, BCMB graduate student in the Krahn lab, has been using his personal story to inspire students who have not considered graduate school or believed it was in reach. This outreach began with a seminar at his alma mater, Georgia Gwinnett College, in February and was recently featured in a GGC news article. The student response was overwhelmingly positive, and Antavius plans to continue sharing his experience to encourage and empower others to pursue advanced education.
