On behalf of the UGA iGEM team, we would like to thank the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology for your generous sponsorship. Your contributions have enabled our team to place a silver medal in the 2016 iGEM Jamboree for the Measurement track.  It also allowed us to represent the University of Georgia to an international audience. Our outstanding accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without your help. (Click on heading to continue reading). Thank you also for understanding the importance of our goals and what we’re trying to accomplish in the field of Synthetic Biology.

Sincerely yours,

The UGA iGEM Team

We are beyond grateful for the support you have given to our UGA iGEM Research Team.

Without which we wouldn’t have been able to conduct our research or attend the international iGEM conference held in Boston to compete.

Our team managed to secure a Silver medal at this competition against some of the brightest minds in universities all over the world.

Your funding not only supported our research, but allowed us, as students, to seek innovation and learn at a higher level.

With your help, our team can continue to prosper and represent the University of Georgia on an international platform as well as in the synthetic biology community.

We are so grateful for your support which has given so many students the chance to participate in student driven research, a unique opportunity on campus.
