BMB graduate student earns research grant

A student in the department of biochemistry and molecular biology earned a grant through the university's graduate school.

Graduate student Yang Liu was selected to receive a 2019 Innovative and Interdisciplinary Research Grant, established to support the graduate school's "strategic initiative to support innovation and interdisciplinarity in the research being conducted by doctoral students."

Liu, who works in the lab of Dr. Hang Yin, a member of the Center for Molecular Medicine, was awarded the $2,000 grant to assist in the research activities outlined in his grant proposal.
