- Enter the password <press ENTER>.
- Re-enter the password <press ENTER>.
- Disconnet and exit from the program.
Telnet
You need a SSH capable telnet client program:
For PCs (Windows), one of the recommended programs is PUTTY (click
here to download).
For MAC's (9.x or lower), you may use Nifty Telnet SSH (click
here to download).
Web Pages
All web contents for your site should be stored in the public_html
folder in your account (if you do not have a public_html folder,
simply connect to the server via a SSH capable telnet client and
issue the command allowweb from the command line - this
will create the public_html folder and set the right permissions
for your directories).
Your web address will be http://www.bmb.uga.edu/your_user_name.
For more information on how to create web pages, visit the UGA
WWW Info Pages.
